All-you-can-eat-menu with Iron Chef Nguyen Thanh Tung

Originally built for a French army captain back in 1889, Ngon Villa does not only offer its visitors a gastronomic experience, but also a journey through time. Joining the restaurant’s highly skilled team this month also is one of Vietnam’s most sought-after chefs, Iron Chef Winner 2012 Nguyen Thanh Tung, who is now the Executive Chef for Ngon Villa. Hailing from the southern region, Chef Tung had an inspiring story from being a high-school dropout to becoming the country’s Iron Chef.

“Our whole team got really excited to work with him as he has done a lot of great work in the past and have shown excellence in the Vietnamese culinary world”, stated by Mr. Nguyen Huu Luc, Restaurant Manager for Ngon Villa. “We’re confident that he will bring Ngon Villa to the international scene”, Nguyen added.

Together with the first month anniversary in early April and the joining of Iron Chef 2012 Winner Nguyen Thanh Tung, the restaurant took the opportunity of changing its concept to an “All-You-Can-Eat” menu for guests to enjoy much of what the Vietnamese cuisines can offer, highlighting dishes coming from the most northern regions to the central coast and to the southern Mekong provinces of the country.
